The Bible as a Site of Struggle

The Annual Steve De Gruchy Memorial Lecture is an initiative of the School of Religion, Philosophy and Classics at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. This year’s lecture was delivered by Professor Gerald West – renowned Biblical Scholar and Acting Director of the Ujamaa Centre for Biblical and Theological Community Development and Research at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. The theme for this year’s lecture was “The Bible as a site of struggle: an on-going dialogue with Steve De Gruchy”.
